‘Quiet Session’
Quiet Session. Back by popular demand, we are pleased to feature the Friday afternoon session as a ‘quiet session’. Sit back, enjoy the real ale on offer and have a conversation with friends and family without any live entertainment.
Southampton-based husband and wife duo Pegasuses join us on Friday evening, bringing their trademark blend of sweet harmonies and darkly comic lyrics. Expect originals alongside covers from some folk, country and Americana greats. Currently recording their first full-length album with local legend Russell Marsden (Snook Studios/Band of Skulls), you can listen to their EP, Flyover (2018) at: https://pegasuses.bandcamp.com/. Find them on social media via @pegasusesband
The Ukes of Wallington (and Fareham!) formed in 2013 and have grown to incorporate members along the South east corner of Hampshire, welcoming all experience.
Enthusiastically playing a variety of songs from the 1920s to the present day, their repertoire includes songs from artists and bands including, and no way limited to, The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Buddy Holly, Elvis, George Formby, Dean Martin, T-Rex, Rod Stewart, George Ezra, Eric Clapton or Doris Day.
Everyone in the Ukes gives their time for free, with generally around 15 members playing at any gig, the bands booking fee (and any donations) go directly to charity, with the chosen charity for 2023 being the Alzheimer‘s Society.

Quiz
Back by popular demand we will be testing your grey matter by bringing you our beer festival quiz. Can you impress your friends by showing you could be the next ‘Egghead’ or are you more akin to being ‘The Weakest Link’?
Interesting Wallpaper are a feast of Southampton musical talent who brings an upbeat, brassy, toe-tappy, indie-pop-gospel sound to their live performance. The band of experienced musicians has been making a name for itself on the live circuit including recently supporting Martin Stephen (Daintees) and performing at the Platform Tavern, Railway Inn, Big Bursfest, and Southampton’s 2022 ‘Music in the City’ festival. With self-written songs including 40 days, Sleeping Lions and 51 Western Road they are guaranteed to close the festival with a bang.
